On May 26 all the Prairie West band students had the opportunity to perform in an amazing massed band and choir made up of over 550 music students from around the division. They performed two pieces. The first was Chinook Winds, a new piece written specifically for our school division and the second was Ranting and Roaring, a Canadian folk song. It was a very special experience to be a part of a group this size! In the afternoon, they travelled to Success and Cabri and performed excellent school concerts with their regular bands. It was a fantastic and memorable day!
